Because of my previous song, “Chuangzao Weilai,” I felt a sense of resonance with some of the listeners, which made me a little happy, especially since it’s also my favorite song from the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf series. However, everyone has different tastes in music; we love what we love, and we also respect others’ works.
I’ve seen all your various comments and private messages urging me to release “Yueding” alongside The Great Rescue. Today, as promised, it’s finally here. This time, “Yueding” has a Gothic foreign flair that struck me the moment the prelude began. The producers put a lot of effort into it, revising many versions before finalizing this one with input from various sources. If the opportunity arises, I hope to share the previous 2.0 version with everyone someday, as it’s a version I personally quite like.

Summary[]
This is a “secondary creation” that resulted from combining multiple drafts. I was truly excited when I wrote the chorus last year, and later I received a lot of feedback from listeners saying they liked it. I was touched. I hope to release more satisfying works in 2023. Previously, someone beat me to it and released it first, even stealing both the work and my bilibili username. Surprisingly, the platform couldn’t remove it—this was definitely one of the top 3 surprising events of 2022. I hope everyone supports original work. We will continue to support Chinese animation through music!
