They triggered a Jiguan Automaton. Zitong told Sparky, Wolffy, and Gui Qulai to be quiet and guided them to escape. Er Dangjia noticed they were running away and shouted loudly, attracting the Jiguan Automaton’s attack on Er Dangjia and Da Dangjia. Gui Qulai, Wolffy, Sparky, and Zitong finally reached safety and continued forward. Gui Qulai decided to press on to retrieve the Zhenfa Compendium, which surprised Zitong. Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and Zitong noticed an incoming attack, quickly pouncing on them to avoid it. Zitong heard that the Jiguan Automaton was above them, and then an explosion occurred. There was one more giant Jiguan Automaton; Sparky wanted to fight but nearly got hit. Wolffy took out the Golden Thunder Staff and attacked it with Thunder Lightning, while Sparky also drew his Explosive Flame Axe. However, that Jiguan Automaton was truly enormous, beyond their imagination.
Behind the giant Jiguan Automaton, there was a door, but it was blocked, making it difficult to pass. Sparky, confident in their numbers, stepped forward to attack the Jiguan Automaton, but it extended its blade, forcing Sparky to block with all his might. Zitong wanted to smash the Jiguan Automaton by hand but was blocked by its shield. Wolffy used the Golden Thunder Staff to electrify the Jiguan Automaton, which then noticed him and unleashed a gem laser from above. Gui Qulai drew a Zhenfa, creating a protective shield for Sparky, Wolffy, and Zitong. The Jiguan Automaton suddenly extended its shield, pushing Sparky, Zitong, and Wolffy, spinning them and slamming them into Gui Qulai and the walls. They were all left dizzy, with Zitong even vomiting, grateful for the protective shield.
Wolffy noticed that the Jiguan Automaton became stronger after absorbing the lightning. Zitong observed that the Jiguan Automaton was made of wood, which was afraid of fire, suggesting that Sparky’s ultimate move could counter it, while others helped bind the Jiguan Automaton. Wolffy used a whip to bind the Jiguan Automaton, and Gui Qulai created a shield to protect against its two giant hammers, ensuring Wolffy and Zitong’s safety. Sparky used “Breaking Through the Mountains, Splitting Heaven and Earth” to burn the Jiguan Automaton, thinking he had succeeded, only for it to suddenly revive. Gui Qulai exclaimed that it was truly a monster, unafraid of fire, while Sparky’s expression tightened, realizing that even his ultimate move was ineffective.
Wolffy believed that Thunder Lightning could be their winning move, but Zitong questioned whether the lightning would make it stronger, recalling previous failures. Wolffy argued that the outer layer was indestructible, but the inside would be relatively weak. Gui Qulai asked how he knew this, and Wolffy replied that he was an inventor. He speculated that if he could enter its interior and continuously unleash Thunder Lightning, allowing it to absorb energy, it would overload and collapse. Sparky thought it was too dangerous, but Wolffy was willing to take the risk. Sparky and Zitong bought time while Gui Qulai used the Zhenfa to teleport Wolffy inside the Jiguan Automaton. Wolffy unleashed Thunder Lightning inside, but was electrocuted, and the Golden Thunder Staff shattered.
The Jiguan Automaton regained its ability to move, discarding the fragments of the Golden Thunder Staff. Gui Qulai sensed something was wrong, while Sparky worried about Wolffy, whose hat had fallen out. Unable to contain his anger, Sparky charged forward to attack, with Gui Qulai activating a protective shield, but Sparky was ruthlessly knocked away by the hammer. Zitong saw Sparky in trouble and almost got hit by the hammer himself, barely managing to escape in time. The Jiguan Automaton rolled down to attack Gui Qulai, who activated his strongest defense. Zitong climbed onto the Jiguan Automaton to remove its hammer but lost his footing and fell, discovering that the hammer’s arm could regenerate. Gui Qulai was being relentlessly attacked, and even his strongest defense couldn’t hold up. Fortunately, at that moment, Wolffy finally appeared, restored the Golden Thunder Staff, and unleashed “With Determination, the Thunder Roars and Lightning Strikes” Da Dangjia thought the place was going to collapse and hurriedly fled. Wolffy finally made Jiguan Automaton overloaded and destroyed it.
Wolffy collapsed, and Gui Qulai tried to encourage him because he still needed to rescue his best friend. Wolffy rallied himself, interpreting this as Gui Qulai’s willingness to save his friend. Gui Qulai pushed him away, and he fell down again. Zitong worried whether Wolffy could walk, but he assured him he was fine. Sparky praised Wolffy’s ultimate move, saying that only when pushed to the brink would one break their limits. Zitong cared about Gui Qulai, and he reassured him that he was okay. Seeing that everyone was fine, Gui Qulai suggested they enter the door.
Upon entering, they discovered a treasure trove; it turned out to be a treasure chamber. Gui Qulai expressed his hatred for the Jiguan Sect, lamenting that it had committed countless wrongs without knowing where this wealth came from. Sparky urged him not to look for treasure just yet and to save his friend, while Wolffy told Sparky to calm down and first help him find the Zhenfa Compendium. Sparky questioned whether the compendium shouldn’t be with the Zhenfa Master, and Zitong realized that the chief of the Jiguan Sect had stolen it long ago. Sparky was confused about why it involved the Jiguan Sect again, and Wolffy urged him to hurry and search. Gui Qulai searched hard and finally found the Zhenfa Compendium. He decided not to disgrace his mission and to revitalize the Zhenfa Sect. Wolffy asked Gui Qulai if having the compendium meant they could save his friend, and Gui Qulai gratefully promised to help them. Sparky and Wolffy were so excited that they knocked Gui Qulai down, causing the compendium to drop a piece of paper. It turned out to be a handwritten letter from the chief of the Jiguan Sect…
