In prison, Gui Qulai meets with the Dreamy Manor Gang, who intend to bully him. Wolffy steps in to protect him, while members of the Zhenfa Sect come to defend Wolffy, who claims to be an Zhenfa Master. As Wolffy resolves some issues, Weslie arrives but is asked by Wolffy to wait before speaking. Er Dangjia chokes, and a gang member who had previously confessed tries to help but gets caught instead. Wolffy rescues Er Dangjia.
Gui Qulai wanders through a tunnel, and Wolffy seeks him out. Er Dangjia appears to thank Wolffy and shares news about the Jiguan Sect, a sect that has disappeared but was once as famous as the Zhenfa Sect. Er Dangjia hopes to get rich there, and Gui Qulai, excited, wants to join. However, they need to escape within three days. Therefore, they planned their jailbreak. While Wolffy is reluctant to break the law, Gui Qulai agrees to the plan.
Wolffy asks Weslie how he ended up in the Martial Alliance and how to be released quicker. Weslie reveals he joined to investigate his case and is curious about why Wolffy is in prison. Wolffy explains he found someone resembling an Zhenfa Master. Weslie told Wolffy that he can get remission by performing well in the prison. Er Dangjia and Gui Qulai attempt to dig a tunnel to escape but they only have a spoon, and Er Dangjia is unwilling to cooperate. Gui Qulai breaks the spoon in the process. Wolffy cleans up and behaves well, which could lead to a reduced sentence. Hearing that good behavior can help with leniency, Er Dangjia and Gui Qulai decide to do good deeds together. Wolffy and Gui Qulai manage to get released, but Er Dangjia faces 45 years in prison due to his subordinates confessing. Gui Qulai wants to stay and gather more information about the Jiguan Sect but is driven away.
Gui Qulai decides to wait at the prison gate. Wolffy tells him he wants Gui Qulai to help him as an Zhenfa Master for his friends, but Gui Qulai denies that he is Zhenfa Master and feels that Wolffy ignores his need of going to Jiguan Sect. Wolffy leaves sadly but returns to assist Gui Qulai, asking him to help his friends once they succeed. Inside the prison, a guard discovers that someone is missing and finds a tunnel has been dug. Er Dangjia, refusing to give up, continues digging with the spoons until he finally breaks through. Wolffy and Gui Qulai wait for Er Dangjia and decide to leave together.
Tibbie asks Yishe about news regarding the Zhenfa Master, and the snake reveals that Wolffy was impersonating the Zhenfa Master and has already been released. Tibbie wants to ask more but is blocked by the Martial Alliance Guards, leading her to suspect that Jia Yibing provided false information.
