Summary[]
Sparky wants to help his friends while on the journey together to the Big Tree’s Summit, but so far, nobody requires his Morning Sun’s mechanical capabilities. While attempting to help clear a branch that is blocking the Magic Train’s path, he forgets yet again that Morning Sun does not have destructive powers. Morning Sun reinforces the branch with steel rather than clearing it away. Tibbie tries to drill through the steel, but her Lightning Angel is out of battery. Slowy mentions that the newly ordered batteries will be delivered soon; this is overheard by Wolffy.
Slowy assigns each of the children tasks to complete in the meantime; Weslie, Tibbie, Paddi, and Jonie all receive a task to complete, but Sparky is simply told to rest for a bit. Sparky, frustrated, laments Morning Sun’s supposed lack of abilities. He later comes across a group of Ant Express logistics employees who explain to him that logistics, too, is a very important responsibility.
Suddenly, Justice Spider—in accordance with his and Wolffy’s plan to intercept the delivery of the goats’ batteries—appears out of nowhere and ties up the ant workers with spider silk, demanding that they hand over their parcels to him. Sparky attempts to summon Morning Sun to no avail. Auntie Ant leads a group of mechanics over to the scene to help. Initially, Justice Spider laughs at them, but as the mechanics easily cut through his spider silk, he quickly runs out and is forced to retreat. Seeing this, Sparky’s pride in logistics returns.
Meanwhile, a group of bees help Weslie remove the steel from the branch. However, the goats cannot continue forward yet, because Sparky is not here, and Tibbie’s batteries have not yet arrived. Wolffy ambushes them and begins to attack. Just then, Justice Spider returns in a panic due to the failure of his own side of the plan. Sparky and the ant mechanics march up to the Magic Trains and place the new batteries. He also uses Morning Sun to quickly repair the trains and modify Wolffy’s Sirius' cannon. The now-modified cannon chases an angry Wolffy away.
Later, Sparky is always ready with Morning Sun’s mechanical capabilities when someone calls for his help. This, unfortunately, results in him sneakily avoiding other work, such as lifting heavy things.
