Summary[]
Weslie escaped from jail. Li learns that he was kidnapped. Wollfy suspects that the sect leader is behind it, but they haven’t infiltrated. Sparky believes it’s the work of a heroic figure, while Haoyue thinks it’s related to the Qilin Cauldron. Paddi is confused about why everyone is after the Qilin Cauldron, and Haoyue explains that it is a legendary treasure that can enhance magical power, making its possessor the strongest in the world. When the Qilin Cauldron first appeared years ago, many masters fought fiercely to seize it. Wolffy worries that Weslie might be in danger, and Jonie wants to find Weslie quickly, while Wolffy suggests splitting up to search different sects.
Meanwhile, the kidnapper questions Weslie about the whereabouts of the Qilin Cauldron. Weslie genuinely doesn’t know, but the kidnapper doesn’t believe him and continues to attack him, pressing for answers.
Sparky hands out flyers to the crowd, and Jonie encounters Aotian, wanting to ask him something, but he ignores her. Yueming appears, and Aotian makes a snide comment about Yueming’s mother being seriously ill, finally coming back. Yueming pushes him away.
Weslie wakes up feeling pain and weakness, and the bamboo forest is in ruins. The kidnapper finally believes that Weslie truly doesn’t know where the Qilin Cauldron is and drags him away.
Sparky is asking around for help, but no one knows where Weslie is. He sees smoke rising in the distance, realizing that Ba Ge’s jade pendant has malfunctioned. Sparky tries to pull Ba Ge away, but Ba Ge, not wanting Sparky to get hurt, refuses to let go. Remembering what Jiu Ge said about heat affecting even the hardest objects, Sparky throws Ba Ge away and faces the out-of-control pendant with his Fiery Fist. He gets sucked into the pendant. Inside, Sparky continues to strike the pendant with high temperatures, successfully shattering it and saving everyone. Ba Ge scolds him for being too impulsive, but Sparky believes he acted instinctively before thinking, and Ba Ge thanks him.
Tibbie, Paddi, Jonie, and Wolffy ask around and feel that everyone seems suspicious of kidnapping Weslie. The crowd suspects that they are hiding Weslie and want them to reveal his location. Their magical powers are ineffective among the crowd and are easily dispersed by their weapons. Sparky arrives, infusing the pendant with his Fiery Fist to obtain the Explosive Flame Axe, creating a circle of fire to block the crowd’s attacks. He hands the pendant to Tibbie, Paddi, Jonie, and Wolffy, instructing them to infuse their powers into it. Tibbie is the first to infuse the Illusory Mirror, gaining the Illusionary Fan, which creates an illusion of them falling off a cliff. Jonie is pressured and infuses Water Spiritual Power to obtain the Water Spirit Axe, launching a water column to knock back the crowd. Wolffy infuses Thunder Lightning to obtain the Golden Thunder Staff, incapacitating the crowd with electric shocks. When the crowd charges, Paddi fails to infuse his Qili. He uses the pendant to block a weapon during an attack, gaining the same hammer as his opponent. Together, they manage to fend off the crowd.
Sparky explains that he got his pendant from Ba Ge, and Tibbie expresses her desire to thank Ba Ge. However, Paddi’s pendant malfunctions again, and when he touches Wolffy’s pendant, he acquires his weapon. It turns out that Paddi’s pendant has the ability to replicate others' weapons, and he boasts that his pendant is the most powerful. Sparky points out that it depends on the user’s talent. Suddenly, a group of serious-looking people walks by.
