Pleasant Goat Wiki
This page documents a Pleasant Goat Wiki policy.
It describes a widely accepted standard that editors should normally follow, though exceptions may apply. Changes made to it should reflect consensus.

We kindly ask everyone to follow these rules to help Pleasant Goat Wiki ensure a positive and productive environment.

General rules

  • Adhere to Fandom’s Policies: All users must comply with Fandom’s Terms of Use and understand the Privacy Policy. These overarching policies govern all activity on the wiki and take precedence over rules specific to Pleasant Goat Wiki.
  • Maintain civility: Engage with others in a courteous and considerate manner. Discussions should focus on content, not individuals. Refrain from using language that could be considered offensive or discriminatory based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or other personal attributes.
  • Contribute constructively: Add value to the wiki by following established guidelines and processes. If you are unsure about anything, feel free to join our Discord server or reach out to an administrator. Unproductive behaviors, such as edit warring and disruptive editing, are not tolerated.
  • Use appropriate usernames and profile pictures: Do not register usernames or use profile pictures that are offensive, inappropriate, or deliberately mimic active users in an attempt to impersonate them.
  • Avoid self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource focused on the topic at hand. Personal websites, YouTube channels, blogs, social media accounts, and similar content should not be inserted into wiki entries but may be included only on your user page.
  • Respect user boundaries: Respect requests from other users regarding their personal spaces, such as message walls. If someone asks you to refrain from posting certain content, please respect their wishes.
  • Use reliable sources: Ensure that all information added to the wiki is accurate and well-sourced. Avoid including rumors, speculation, or unofficial content in wiki entries. When in doubt, consult community guidelines or seek advice from administrators.
  • Protect the integrity of the wiki: Vandalism, particularly long-term or intentional addition of false information or offensive content, will result in severe consequences if the behavior persists despite warnings. Editing behavior similar to that of long-term abusive users will be considered as coming from their sockpuppet accounts.

Content rules

  • Wiki entries should be directly related to Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf or its derivative works. Entries with unrelated topics will be deleted.
  • Before creating an entry, ensure that an entry on this subject does not already exist and that the information is not based on rumors.
  • Unofficial content, such as fan art or shipping, is not allowed in wiki entries. Mentioning these only on user pages or in community discussions is permitted.

Block rules

  • Impersonation will result in an indefinite block.
  • Users exhibiting editing behavior similar to that of long-term abusive users will be indefinitely blocked.
  • Vandalism, such as adding false information or offensive content, and edit warring will result in a block ranging from 1 day to indefinite, depending on severity and repetition. The first block for this reason will not exceed 2 weeks, the second will not exceed 1 year, and indefinite blocks apply only from the third offense onward, with the specific duration left to the discretion of the enforcing administrator.
  • If a user (whether acting manually or via a bot) repeatedly performs disruptive actions or policy violations in a short period, and is presumed non-malicious but unresponsive to warnings, an administrator may issue a 2-hour block to de-escalate the situation. If the behavior continues after 2 hours, it will be handled as vandalism per the above rule.
  • Blocked users may appeal only if they show a willingness to follow the rules. Appeals should be directed to an administrator through appropriate channels.
