Murphy (牧牧, Mùmu) is introduced in The Little Detective, on episode 1.
Appearance[]
He is a detective and a dog, and has some white hair. He wears a blue outfit with a red bow on top.
Personality[]
He loves eating bananas and, being a dog, he loves to play fetch. In The Little Detective, it was said that he got kicked out from his detective group, so he went to Green Green Grassland. In episode 60, he is finally disqualified as a detective due to the bracelet incident; he later returns to Cuicui Grassland to retake his job.
Murphy is rather gullible and is easily distracted. He has trouble focusing on cases, usually not being able to come to a reasonable conclusion with the evidence he has. He is oblivious to the conflict between the wolves and goats.

- He’s the main character in The Little Detective, but somehow he makes cameo appearance in Adventures in the Sea episode 42, Dunk for Victories episode 60, Ultimate Battle: The Next Generation episode 1, and The Great Rescue episodes 17 and 60.
- He is a sheepdog, or mùyángquǎn (牧羊犬) in Chinese, and his Chinese name is a reduplication of the word’s first character, Mùmu (牧牧).
