- The title of this episode is a reference to the poem Touring Shanxi Village (《游山西村》, «Yóu Shānxī Cūn») by Lu You, a poet of the Southern Song dynasty. “Mountains and rivers repeated, seems no road ahead” reflects the dire situation of the protagonist group as they find themselves cornered while fleeing from the Martial Alliance Guards’ relentless pursuit. Just when escape seems impossible, they accidentally climb through a window into a room, only to discover it is part of That Inn, and this mirrors the next line of the poem, “Yet beyond the willow shades and bright flowers, another village appears”, symbolizing unexpected hope and salvation in the face of despair.
