Mighty Goat Squad (羊羊趣冒险, Yángyáng Qù Màoxiǎn) is the thirty-third donghua installment in the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf franchise, and the first season of the Mighty Goat Squad series. Its sequel season is Mighty Goat Squad 2.
This donghua was filed by CPE in November 2018 and had two title changes filed. It was originally titled New Pleasant Goat Fun Class (新智趣羊学堂, Xīn Zhìqù Yáng Xuétáng).
After being issued a distribution license numbered (Yue) Dong Shen Zi [2020] Di-022 Hao on June 9, 2020, the first episode premiered on August 1, 2020, on Aniworld Satellite Television, streaming platforms iQiyi, MangoTV, Tencent Video, and Youku, as well as several local IPTV and OTT platforms, updating four episodes daily. Several other TV channels began airing it at a later date. The donghua concluded its run across all premiere platforms on August 7, 2020.
Plot[]
This story-driven edutainment series features Weslie and his friends’ fascinating adventures in a mini world they have not discovered before in Green Green Grassland. In each episode, those ordinary goats receive mysterious missions and become a mighty goat squad to rescue those who are in trouble. As they become small, they have chances to explore the inconspicuous places of their daily lives and see the world from a perspective they haven’t tried. From each adventure, Weslie and his friends learn to build teamwork and friendship with their tiny important friends. The other way around, their tiny friends inspire them to break through their own limits. Keep your tiny curiosity and discover a big world with mighty goat squad!
One day, Weslie and his friends received an SOS signal from a tiny spaceship. It turns out that they shrink to be very little to start their journey of exploring the micro world! Together with the intelligent spaceship and their mini cars which were invented by Weslie’s father Smarc, they bravely assist the residents in the micro world to solve problems step by step. And thus, Weslie and his friends realize Smarc’s wish of keeping tiny curiosity for discovering the big world around.

Trivia[]
- This season premiered two days prior to the Pleasant Goat donghua’s 15th anniversary.
- This is the first season of Pleasant Goat Fun Class to be animated in CGI, whereas the seasons before it had 2D animation. This also makes it the first season of the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf donghua in general to be animated in CGI, as to date the main Pleasant Goat series has not had a CGI-animated season.
- This is the second series that has been aired on outside China rather than the web series. It is aired on Astro Xiao Tai Yang in Malaysia.
