Marching to the New Wonderland (嘻哈闯世界, Xīhā Chuǎng Shìjiè) is the sixteenth donghua installment in the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf franchise, the fourteenth entry in the main series, and the first season of the Marching to the New Wonderland series.
The donghua was filed by CPE in November 2014 and was officially announced on March 27, 2015, as part of the 10th Anniversary event.
After being issued a distribution license numbered (Yue) Dong Shen Zi [2015] Di-046 Hao, the first episode premiered on January 15, 2016, on the Aniworld Satellite Television channel, airing 3–6 episodes daily, with the final episode airing on January 28, 2016. Several other TV channels began airing it at a later date. On February 4, 2016, the complete donghua was made available on streaming platforms iQiyi, Tencent Video, Youku, MangoTV, Letv, PPTV, and Funshion. Except for the version broadcast on CCTV-14, which did not have subtitles, all other versions aired on these platforms include simplified Chinese hard subtitles.
In 2018, the donghua was dubbed into Korean by KBS and aired on the KBS Kids channel as well as multiple South Korean streaming platforms. The Korean dub also included a cover of the theme songs.
In 2020, the donghua was distributed by Muse on multiple streaming platforms in the Taiwan region, with traditional Chinese hard subtitles.
The official Chinese YouTube channel began uploading the first episode of the donghua on July 28, 2021, updating one episode every other day, completing the entire donghua on November 23, 2021. The YouTube version removed the original opening and ending songs, added the unique opening of the channel, and retained the original simplified Chinese hard subtitles except for episode 30.

Trivia[]
- The original title includes the Chinese word Xīhā (嘻哈), which is both an onomatopoetic word of laughing and a transliteration for the English word “Hip-hop.” The title is also a pun because the theme song, “Xiha Chuang Shijie,” includes a hip-hop featured part, and the donghua itself is about the goats’ trip on the Magic Trains, or Xīhā Huǒchē (嘻哈火车) in Chinese.
- The new art style is being formed in this season. While the main features of the new art style don’t appear, shadows of different colors are added to the goats’ fur, blue for Weslie, yellow for Paddi, pink for Tibbie, and so on.
