She joined the first batch of the TVB Cantonese Dubbing Training Course in 1990. In May of the same year, she joined the TVB Cantonese Dubbing Group. She also worked as a weather reporter for the TVB Evening Weather Report. In multiple interviews, she mentioned that reporting the weather and dubbing are two separate jobs, both of which are full-time and not part-time. This job made her one of the few voice actors in Hong Kong known for her appearance. Her role as a weather reporter also gained her some popularity, but she stopped this role after TVB News underwent reforms in 2010.
In 1992, she took over roles from Sally the Witch and Doraemon. Her portrayal of Shizuka Minamoto made her well known to the audience, and she earned the nickname Shizuka. Currently, she is the longest-serving Cantonese voice actor among the five main characters of Doraemon.
In 2020, after Tsang Pui Yee left TVB, she took over the role of Weslie in Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf as a regular voice actress. In 2021, she served as a guest voice acting instructor in the summer voice acting course “Dub of War: Dubbing Academy” organized by TVB. She left TVB in September 2023. After leaving TVB, she continued to voice Weslie in Cantonese for Movie 9.
