Jay (蕉太狼, Jiāo Tàiláng, also known as Banana Wolf) is a character in Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. He is the nephew of Wolffy.
Appearance[]
He is a wolf with a bulky body and small black dot eyes. He is always seen holding a banana.
Personality[]
He loves to eat bananas and he is friends with Jonie.
Etymology[]
Jiāo (蕉) means “banana,” Tài (太) is often used to denote “big” or “great,” and Láng (狼) means “wolf.” Together, Jiāo Tàiláng can mean “Banana Big Wolf.” The name Tàiláng (太狼) is also a pun on the common Japanese male name “Tarō.”
