Trivia[]

  • The band did not achieve much success, having released only one album. They ceased activities after 2011.
  • When The Super Adventure was released, CPE posted the band’s introduction on its official website: Due to Tomy’s initial background in forming bands, he had a strong desire to establish a group to venture into pop music. Jay met Tomy while serving as a judge in a singing competition, where Jay’s outstanding performance won him the championship and impressed Tomy, leading to Jay becoming a member of J.O.Y. Jasmine, on the other hand, was introduced to Tomy’s recording studio for an advertisement song recording by a friend. Tomy discovered her exceptional vocal talent, and she became a member of J.O.Y.
  • Currently, Jasmine is a singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and street performer, known as the “Street Queen.” Jay is now the Supervisor of Culture, Sports & Arts Division at the Hong Kong Playground Association. Before joining J.O.Y., she was a player for the SCAA Women Basketball Team in the Hong Kong Division 1 Women’s Basketball League. Now she is still dedicated to promoting the development of local amateur basketball. Tomy, in the name Tommy now, continues his career as a film music composer.
