“Flying Sisterly Bond” (飞翔姐妹情, Fēixiáng Jiěmèiqíng) is the thirteenth episode of Crazy Hubs.
Jonie is distressed about choosing her flying buddy. She helps Tibbie decorate her aircraft, but Tibbie is captured by a large bird during a test flight. To save her, Jonie chooses a paint tube as her flying buddy in a moment of crisis, and after their escape, they fly together in the air using the paint tube.

Lili is curious about why Jonie is showing off all her collections. Jonie explains that she is struggling to choose a permanent flying buddy from Flat-beak Allen’s various merchandise and her shared memories with her friends. At that moment, Jonie remembers it is time for her and Tibbie’s scheduled appointment.
Tibbie has asked Jonie to help decorate her aircraft. Tibbie recalls that her classmates from the Invention Club helped her build the wing aircraft, but they couldn’t offer Tibbie any suggestions for its appearance that she finds acceptable. Jonie suggests painting some flowers and adding feathers and decorations, which Tibbie enthusiastically agrees with, saying Jonie understands her best.
Jonie and Tibbie complete the decoration of the aircraft together. Tibbie invites Jonie to practice flying together, but knowing Jonie is struggling with choosing her flying buddy, Tibbie decides to test her aircraft herself. After a bit of struggle, Tibbie successfully flies the wing and conducts various tests. To thank Jonie for her help, she draws Jonie’s shape in the sky using clouds.
At that moment, a large bird that likes shiny things flies by and notices Tibbie’s aircraft. The bird carries Tibbie and her wing back to its nest, a high cave on a cliff. During this time, Jonie tries to use moving magic to attack the bird but is unsuccessful.
Jonie uses moving magic to move a vine and climbs up to the bird’s nest. When she arrives, Tibbie is struggling with the bird over her wing aircraft. Jonie uses moving magic to rescue Tibbie and the aircraft. However, when they reach the cave entrance, there are no other shiny objects to distract the bird, and the damaged wing can’t fly. The bird destroys the platform at the cave entrance, causing Jonie and Tibbie to fall. In the process, Jonie grabs a nearby paint tube at random and designates it as her flying buddy. They use the paint tube to evade the bird’s pursuit. Tibbie also uses the accelerator on her aircraft. They manage to shake off the bird using water jets and successfully escape.
After their escape, they continue flying through the air as evening falls. Tibbie apologizes to Jonie for her hasty choice of an important flying buddy due to the situation. Jonie reassures her that it’s okay and flies with Tibbie, drawing cloud shapes of Tibbie in the sky and expressing that Tibbie is important to her too. They agree to practice flying and painting in the sky together once Tibbie’s wing is repaired.
