Fenhong Tailang (粉红太狼, Fěnhóng Tàiláng, literally “Pink Wolf”) is a character in Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. She is Wolffy’s grandmother.
Etymology[]
Fěnhóng (粉红) means “pink,” Tài (太) is often used to denote “big” or “great,” and Láng (狼) means “wolf.” Together, Fěnhóng Tàiláng can mean “Pink Big Wolf.” The name Tàiláng (太狼) is also a pun on the common Japanese male name “Tarō.”
