Summary[]
The informant rowed into a cave, and Da Dangjia pushed them inside. Sparky and Zitong were locked in Qili Locks, and Da Dangjia warned them to behave and follow orders, not to escape. Sparky questioned this, but Da Dangjia insisted they go in. The subordinates of the Dreamy Manor Gang opened the door and pushed Sparky inside. One of them asked about waiting for the Er Dangjia, but Da Dangjia thought it was a waste of time; when he arrived, they would meet him.
Sparky was not convinced, while Zitong observed the surroundings. Da Dangjia complained they were moving too slowly and pushed them in. Once inside, Zitong noticed the ground was littered with wooden planks, arrows, and spikes, warning Sparky to stay alert because this was the Jiguan Sect, filled with traps. Sparky questioned how Zitong knew it was the Jiguan Sect, and Zitong replied that no one knew where the Jiguan Sect was hidden, puzzled how the Dreamy Manor Gang found it, suggesting they had been there many times before. Suddenly realizing the Dreamy Manor Gang was not following, a flurry of arrows shot out, and they hurriedly avoided them until the arrows stopped firing. Sparky mocked Da Dangjia for not daring to go first, while the subordinates scolded him for speaking ill of Da Dangjia, urging him to lead the way.
They continued forward when one subordinate triggered a trap, falling into a mud pit. The valve was in the ceiling, and Sparky noticed it. Da Dangjia struck the valve with his Qili weapon, moving it slightly, and the subordinate praised him, thinking a few more hits would turn off the mechanism, but his hands were already stuck deep in the mud. Sparky failed to break free from the Qili Lock, while Zitong jumped out of the mud pit and directly shut off the mechanism. Da Dangjia exclaimed they were finally saved, unexpectedly impressed that Zitong could disable the mechanism using only physical strength. He urged them to keep moving, and they successfully navigated through a series of traps.
They reached a dead end, and a subordinate anxiously asked which way to go. Da Dangjia angrily said he was studying the situation and told them not to rush. Sparky scolded them for not knowing the way, and Da Dangjia ordered him to turn back. Sparky remarked on Zitong’s impressive skills, noting how hidden they were. Zitong took out the key to the Qili Lock and unlocked his own, surprising Sparky. Zitong told him not to move and helped unlock his Qili Lock, but they were spotted by the Dreamy Manor Gang. They tried to escape but were surrounded. Zitong tossed Sparky his jade pendant, allowing Sparky to finally use the Explosive Flame Axe. Sparky and Da Dangjia fought, triggering a trap involving a large stone. Da Dangjia attacked the stone, nearly knocking Zitong down. Sparky pushed Zitong aside, triggering a tunnel mechanism, and fell inside. Da Dangjia frantically used his Qili weapon to smash the stone until it shattered. He lamented how tough the stone was, while his subordinates praised his exceptional abilities, noting he didn’t need to rely on cannon fodder. Da Dangjia scolded them for being useless, which forced him to look for others. Suddenly, he realized the two had disappeared; his subordinates saw them vanish into a wall, while ahead was a dead end, infuriating Da Dangjia and urging them to find the way in.
Meanwhile, Sparky and Zitong found themselves at a fork in the path. Sparky attempted to break through a wall but failed. Zitong indicated that brute force wouldn’t open the stone wall, and they had to keep searching for another exit. Sparky thanked Zitong for always helping him, praising him as a master, and noted that he realized Zitong was secretly assisting him during their previous fight at the market. He questioned why Zitong didn’t fight back when he was bullied. Zitong sighed and continued moving forward. Sparky then asked why Zitong didn’t just take down the Dreamy Manor Gang directly. Zitong replied that they were numerous, and Da Dangjia was not an ordinary person, lacking confidence in dealing with them. Sparky then inquired why Zitong had a key to the Qili Lock, which belonged to the Martial Alliance, and Zitong countered that Da Dangjia also had a Qili Lock.
Suddenly, they triggered an iron cage mechanism and got separated. Zitong told Sparky to move back while he continuously punched the iron cage, realizing they needed to find a switch to open it. He urged Sparky to look for it while turning around to blow on his reddened fingers, wincing in pain. Sparky kept searching and eventually found the switch on the ground. However, when he approached the switch, it transformed into a Jiguan Automaton. Zitong pointed out that the switch was on the Jiguan Automaton’s body and that defeating it was the only way to access it. Sparky angrily retorted that it was easier said than done. He used the Explosive Flame Axe, but the Jiguan Automaton defended quickly. Zitong noticed that the Jiguan Automaton’s arms could block Qili weapons. Sparky accelerated his attacks, but no matter how fast he was, the Jiguan Automaton still blocked him, surviving even his fiercest blows without a scratch. The Jiguan Automaton retaliated with a punch, sending Sparky flying.
Zitong crouched down and explained to Sparky that the Jiguan Automaton could block all attacks and that he needed to think strategically, guiding the Jiguan Automaton to attack him. When the Jiguan Automaton swung at Sparky, it would expose the switch on its chest, which was the only opportunity. Sparky understood, feigning an attack, and when the Jiguan Automaton prepared to swing, it completely exposed the switch. Sparky pressed the switch with the Explosive Flame Axe, shouting, “Breaking Through the Mountains, Splitting Heaven and Earth!” The Jiguan Automaton was defeated, and the mechanism fell. Sparky collapsed, but Zitong caught him. Zitong remarked that Sparky had given that move a name, while Sparky thought the name sounded cool. Zitong smiled and suggested they leave this place first.
