Summary[]
A commercial made for a courier company, Ant Express, airs on TV. The commercial claims that the couriers of Ant Express can deliver parcels anywhere and everywhere. After seeing how quickly and safely his friends’ parcels arrived, Paddi decides to ship the Energy Seed directly to the Big Tree’s Summit so that there is no longer any need to travel all the way there.
Paddi takes the Energy Seed to the Ant Express headquarters and requests to deliver it to the Summit. However, the company’s general manager, Auntie Ant, explains that the regulations do not permit couriers to travel to the Summit for safety reasons. Feeling scammed, Paddi turns to leave, but he is stopped by Andy, an inexperienced courier. Andy promises that he can deliver the Energy Seed to the Summit for Paddi.
Andy, excited to finally have a job, sets out for the Big Tree’s Summit with the Energy Seed. However, he stops to eat some fruits, which Paddi notices (but doesn’t question). He then stops to take a nap, which is also noticed by Paddi. Andy’s surprise at running into Paddi again causes him to accidentally knock the Energy Seed’s parcel box off of the branch; it falls into the smokestack of Sirius, which Wolffy is driving below.
When Andy realizes that he’s lost the Energy Seed, he reluctantly informs Paddi; he also explains that he is just an intern and has never actually delivered a parcel before. Angrily, Paddi takes Andy with him on Hurricane to search for the Seed. He ignores Andy’s warnings about an upcoming cliff, but even after falling off, the two discover signs of the Seed.
Wolffy stops driving to check on Sirius, whose clogged smokestack is causing many problems. He discovers the Energy Seed parcel stuck in the smokestack and tries various methods to break open the Seed’s safe box to no avail. Andy and Paddi hide behind a bush and try to think of a solution to get the Seed back; Andy, wanting to prove his competence as a courier, bravely marches up to Wolffy and demands the Energy Seed back. When Wolffy is distracted by chasing after Paddi, Andy steals Wolffy’s cannonball gun and launches Wolffy away.
Paddi apologizes to Andy for not trusting him earlier, and Andy apologizes to Paddi for losing the parcel. Andy thinks that he has failed at his dream of becoming a courier, but Paddi already thinks that Andy is outstanding and gives him a positive review. This results in Auntie Ant promoting Andy to an official Ant Express courier, much to Andy’s excitement.
