Alpha Group Co., Ltd. (奥飞娱乐股份有限公司, Àofēi Yúlè Gǔfèn Yǒuxiàngōngsī), formerly Guangdong Alpha Animation and Culture Co., Ltd. (广东奥飞动漫文化股份有限公司, Guǎngdōng Aòfēi Dòngmàn Wénhuà Gǔfèn Yǒuxiàngōngsī, 2007-2016) is a Chinese company focused on manufacturing toys and producing animation. The company was founded by Cai Dongqing in December 1993 and originally went by the name Auldey Toys before changing to Alpha Animation in 2007.
Connection with Pleasant Goat[]
In October 2013, Alpha Group purchased Creative Power Entertaining, the company that produces the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf donghua, for 634 million dollars (HK). All Pleasant Goat materials produced since then have been attributed to both CPE and Alpha.
Alpha includes Pleasant Goat characters in their donghua series Alpha Q.

- Alpha Group also acquired Msc Co., Ltd. (also known as Happytoon), an animation studio that focuses on another cartoon by Huang Weiming called Happy Heroes. Several years after acquiring MSC, Alpha has transferred a large amount of equity and is no longer the largest shareholder of Msc. It is believed that Alpha’s previous acquisition of Msc was only aimed at bringing Huang Weiming, who has left CPE to establish Msc, under its umbrella to continue working at CPE. Msc has been involved with Pleasant Goat at least once, as the opening logos in Dunk for Future indicate they are one of its production companies.
