“Alone on the Treacherous Path, Hanguang Appears at the Darkest Moment” (险路独行夜逢光, Xiǎn Lù Dú Xíng Yè Féng Guāng) is the thirty-fourth episode of Martial World Rescue.

Summary[]
Weslie is questioned by the Martial Alliance Guards about whether they caught the escape artist. He cleverly retorts, asking if they have captured him, and then leaves work smoothly. As he tries to depart, he thinks he sees Beiming. He receives a package from Elder Yinshao, but the presence of Beiming leaves him momentarily dazed. After being called again, he collects the package and wonders why Beiming is there, guessing it might be because of his previous appearance, but thinks Beiming wouldn’t know he has transformed into a cat. After delivering Elder Yinshao’s package, Weslie asks for a stamp.
Weslie then goes to the Yanhuo Sect and presents the stamped package to Sect Chief Crow. He pretends to speak on behalf of the Elder but is met with skepticism. Weslie claims he has arranged things with his subordinates, but Crow continuously denies his assertions. As Weslie prepares to leave, Crow takes him down a corridor. In the corridor, there is no wind, but the flames flicker ominously. Rhino and Boar, the sect chiefs, lie in ambush. Rhino knows Weslie is investigating and plans to set a trap for him. A fierce battle erupts, with Weslie asserting that they do not regard Elder Yinshao highly. Rhino takes the stamp, realizing it’s a delivery receipt and teased Yinshao for his purchasing habit. Weslie narrowly avoids a blow and remembers the leaves given to him by Hanguang, claiming he has a secret technique, which he then activates. They assume he’s toying with them, but Hanguang appears and defeats them.
The Yanhuo Sect disciples do not arrive due to orders from their chief of guarding the door and not to come in. The chieves tells Weslie and Hanguang everything about the cauldron, that they attempted to seize the cauldron but failed, leaving them unaware of who injured it. Weslie sketches the figure of the informant, and they all identify him, leading Weslie to realize that this person is causing the chaos. He warns them not to speak of it, and they agree. However, Hanguang directly pulls Weslie away, leaving the chiefs puzzled about why Hanguang is appearing with the Martial Alliance, and where the informant comes from.
Meanwhile, the informant picks up Sparky and Zitong. Sparky attempts to attack the big boss but is blocked by the informant. The informant asks if the big boss has found the Jiguan Sect, to which the reply is that it’s difficult to access. The informant warns them that they must ensure everything is foolproof.
